It was a faint, familiar thrum in her mind.
The princess slowly blinked, keeping perfectly still as she concentrated on identifying the humming in her head. It steadily grew more pronounced and definite.
When the recognition hit, Sera reeled. Kicking her blanket off her she retreated backward on all fours, dragging her heels. She was abruptly halted when she backed into a tree, slamming her shoulder blades against the wood.
